Bidisha Das

Bidisha Das is a Cologne-based multimedia artist and musician who works largely with improvised electronic music, using digital, analogue, and self-made instruments. Bidisha’s enigmatic soundscapes that are characterised by a consistent DIY-approach reflect her profound interest in the intersection between art, technology, and science. Recurring themes of the artist’s diverse range of work include planetary coexistence, transformation processes, alternative concepts of communication, and rhizomatic thinking. Bidisha is a graduate of Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore. Currently she studies at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne and continues to capture the intangible in her sonic experiments.
